Consultant to UNICEF, World Bank, NRSP, BRSP and Government of Balochistan: As Consultant to UNICEF, World Bank, NRSP, BRSP and Government of Balochistan, Local Government & Rural Development Department for developing (a) Provincial Total Sanitation Policy and (b) Provincial Total Sanitation Strategy for the Government of Balochistan. For getting feedback from the concerned stakeholder from Government at different levels, NGOs, communities, etc. consultative workshops / seminars / meetings are being held and after their inputs in the process Provincial Total Sanitation Policy and Strategy will be finalized.

Low-Cost Sanitation Program (Community Physical Infrastructure Creation): The program Local Cost Sanitation Project for Quetta Katchi Abadies is funded by the President of Pakistan under Quetta Water Supply and Environmental Improvement Project (QWSEIP). As one of implementing partner Social AID has mandate to complete the project with the active participation of beneficiaries, i.e. 40% of share for the program will be shared by communities whereas, 60% will be top-up by the project. As a part of activities, Health n’ Hygiene education for and female, local area workshop for program orientation to local government officials, communities and masses in general will also be conducted.

Mass Awareness Raising Campaign and Water Consumer Survey: Mass Awareness Raising Campaign and Water Consumer Survey for Quetta Water Supply and Environmental Improvement Project was funded by the President of Pakistan. During the one year activity Social AID conducted Mass Awareness Raising Campaigns for aware the general public for effective water use. Moreover, water consumer survey of water users of Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) was also conducting.

National Consultant to Japanese Bank of International Cooperation (JIBC): Social AID’s services was hired by JIBC for developing Environmental Profile of Pakistan. During the phase of completing the assignment whole of Pakistan was visited and data regarding natural and social environment, existing infrastructure, general law and order situation, etc. was gathered, processed and analytical summary was submitted to JIBC.
